I'm a passionate art and design educator with over 20 years of experience, currently teaching in Shenzhen. As an IB Visual Arts Educator, I bring an international perspective that helps students grow in both skill and confidence.
Originally from rural Gloucestershire, I studied Graphic Design at De Montfort University and earned my PGCE from the University of Chester. My career began in Cheshire and has since taken me to classrooms in India, Tanzania, the UAE, Peru, Thailand, Qatar, and China.
Outside school, I’m a family man. My wife, Cristina, is from Peru, and we love exploring new places, hiking, and trying local foods with our son, Charles.
In class, I aim to create a welcoming space where students feel safe to take risks, explore ideas, and find their own artistic voice.
