In one day, fifty high school students painted ten vibrant murals to inspire elementary pupils and promote the UN’s sustainability goals, with a focus on the environment. Blending creativity with purpose, the project encouraged connection, curiosity, and reflection through art.

Oryx International School’s courtyard is now a vibrant World Cup tribute—brought to life through collaboration between students, the PTA, and our secondary head of school. Towering 15-foot figures in Qatari, French, and Brazilian kits, a student-designed sticker timeline, team flags, and an interactive app come together in a celebration of sport, culture, and creativity.
I created these posters using DALL-E 2 AI and Adobe Illustrator to highlight the IB Learner Profile and Approaches to Learning for primary students. Incorporating our school’s branding and mascot, these designs were requested by the primary principal to help students engage with our core educational values.
I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with the primary department, which inspired me to create art-specific Learner Profile and Approaches to Learning posters for my own classroom. I shared these resources with other visual arts teachers and the arts department to support a unified approach to student engagement with these key concepts.
